We have an extraordinary staff of dedicated servants to make your experience at Clifton Church a welcoming one.
Rev. Suzanne Fountaine has been serving as the pastor of Clifton United Methodist Church since February 2005. Her ministry grows out of the belief that God calls us to lives of vital faith centered in worship and prayer and lived out in compassion and service to the world. Her calling to ordained ministry grew out of the desire to empower the laity for the work of the Church. She is especially passionate about following the example of Christ to open the Church to radical hospitality so all God's children can worship and serve together fully. Suzanne's special interests lie in participating in the spiritual formation of both children and adults. In addition to serving Clifton UMC, she serves as a leadership coach for the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church. She was trained as a Spiritual Director in the Ignatian tradition at the Milford Spiritual Center and maintains a Spiritual Direction practice in which she guides persons in discovering God in daily life. She received the Master of Divinity degree from United Theological Seminary and has served churches in Cincinnati and Wauseon, Ohio, since her ordination as an elder in the United Methodist Church. She is the mother of two adult daughters and one son-in-law and enjoys going to movies and reading in her leisure time.
